About our house percussionist – Avi Agababa

I’m a professional musician for over 30 years, during these years I have taken part in various musical projects from rock bands (during my twenties) through fusion, jazz, musicals, recording sessions and accompaniment of Israel’s top artists. During the last 15 years I have focused in playing ethnic percussion with special emphasis on middle-eastern instruments.
I have gained thorough experience in recording with many artists/band such as the following:

With some of whom I have performed world-wide.

During my travels I have had the pleasure of participating in productions of fellow musicians I have made friends with, some of these recordings were somewhat compromised of variety as I travel only with a small selection of my many instruments.
Thanks to the wonders of the internet, and through this website I am now able to present my whole catalogue of instruments, and offer musicians from around the globe to work with me and record my playing in high quality whatever their recording abilities may be.
I am happy to share with you what gives me most joy and satisfaction – playing percussion.
